Bio-Pen Agent

Alongside the revolutionary Bio-Pen hardware, we offer a complete suite of software applications that allows you to manage your data securely and effectively, all available in one free and simple to install download.

This application, the Bio-Pen Agent, brings together our existing range of powerful programs as well as providing a gateway to our range of web access features.

As with all our software, it is:

  • PC compatible (Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP/Vista)
  • Easy to integrate with any standard software
  • Simple to set-up for multiple level verification
  • Free to download and easy to install

The Bio-Pen Agent includes the following applications:

LogBook

LogBook is a powerful program for verifying and managing signatures made using your Bio-Pen. A host of different features allow you to securely record and verify the identity of staff or visitors, and easily export the data into programs such as Microsoft Access.

LockBox

LockBox offers a complete multi-user environment for authentication and document access, perfect for those looking to manage all volumes of sensitive data and flexible solution to a host of document management problems.

PDF-Sign

PDF-Sign allows digital signatures to be added and verified to any PDF document, providing a secure and easy electronic signature solutions.

Web access

Control Panel

The Control Panel lets you adjust settings, add and remove users and control the various functions of each Bio-Pen remotely and in real time.

Access Log

Access Log allows you to monitor your Bio-Pen login records at any time or location, providing extra flexibility for a host of functions from payroll to facilities management.

LogBook View

In effect an online version of LogBook, this tool also serves as a remote viewer for LogBook files, giving you access to your information whenever you need it most.

File Manager

File Manager lets you securely share your information and downloads/uploads the files quickly and easily from/to a server host.

Secure Email

Emails can also be sent through LockBox, but by using the online Secure Email function there is no possibility of tracing the sender, adding a whole new level of security to your sending of sensitive data.

Hardware

The Bio-Pen is portable, lightweight and durable and can sign on hard surfaces. Features include:

The Bio-Pen works with both powered USB 1.1 and USB 2.0, so no mains adapter or batteries are needed.
Status Lights
The Bio-Pen uses three different status lights:
  • Orange - Idle
  • Green (flashing) - Ready for signature
  • Green - Data transfer
Pen Tip

The Bio-Pen comes with a plastic stylus tip.

The plastic stylus is suitable for all applications, and can be used on any hard surface such as a desktop or an LCD signature tablet.
